Pastor Jeff Blackburn was born and raised in Rocky Mount, NC. He accepted Christ at the age of 8 under his father, Rev. James Blackburn. Pastor Blackburn felt a call to ministry at the age of 14. After graduating from High School, he pursued a psychology degree with a minor in Christian Education from Lee University.

 

Shortly after graduating from Lee University, he became a drug and alcohol counselor but felt the call of God to begin to pursue full-time vocational ministry. Since then, he has served as a Youth Pastor, Executive Pastor, Associate Pastor, Church Planter and is currently serving as Lead Pastor of the New Life Church.

 

He has a passion to see people changed by the power of Jesus Christ and live an abundant life that Jesus came to give them. He is married to Tonya Blackburn and has two incredible children - Ashlyn and Ethan.
