What’s Stronger all about?

We believe that the Lord has put us as men here for this time and place for His perfect purpose. Many men have gone about their godly pursuits as a Lone Ranger, but that is not what the Bible commands us to do. We have strength in brotherhood, we are called to mentor (disciple) the next generation, lift up our brothers in their challenges and much more.

Stronger is a men’s conference featuring gifted/inspired speakers from different walks of life. We have multiple churches of different denominations from the area involved. With the challenges facing our families, country, community and just fulfilling our mission (making disciples of Christ) ; it is critical that the men of God be connected and take up their spiritual armor and role.

Stronger is about making stronger men, marriages, fathers and disciples of Christ.

Bill enlisted in the Army in 1984 at the age of 17, and later attended the University of Missouri (Rolla) on an ROTC scholarship.  From there he received an appointment to the US Military Academy at West Point, graduating with the class of 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.  Bill’s first assignment was serving in the Persian Gulf War, as a Lieutenant with the 3rd Armored Division.  Bill left the military after completing a tour of duty in Europe, and returned home to rural Missouri to open a business, volunteer at church, and work as Postmaster with the US Postal Service.  Bill was then hired as a Senior Financial Consultant for Mercantile Bank (now US Bank), and oversaw investment services at 7 bank branches in 4 local communities.  In 1999, Bill completed a ThM degree (Master of Theology - Jacksonville Theological Seminary) while volunteering and serving at church in various roles.  In 2000, Bill and wife Sheri (married 1993) became the Pastor(s) of Salem Full Gospel Church in Salem Missouri, and became involved in missions work internationally (Philippines, India, Zimbabwe, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Papua New Guinea, Australia), and locally.  In 2005 Bill & Sheri founded the Lifeway Center Inc, a faith-based non-profit that serves the local community with 3 divisions.  1) The Shepherd’s Nook Food Pantry has become the largest food pantry distribution network in a 30-county area of Southern Missouri, serving nearly 4,000 people monthly, including during the pandemic.  2) Project Win is a cancer support group that supplies fuel vouchers, prayer, and spiritual/educational support for area residents diagnosed with cancer (nearest treatment is 75 mile journey) - serving approximately 30 families monthly.  3) The American Volunteers is a veteran-centric community service organization, connecting area veterans with local service projects requested by community leaders, and Bible-based recovery courses for combat veterans overcoming the impacts of PTSD.  Bill was recently asked to become a TED Talk speaker, discussing how the Lord provides for these ministries by His power, linked here:  https://youtu.be/y2hlm8gngOA

Bill earned a Doctor of Practical Ministry (DPMin) from Wagner University in 2008, and continues to serve as Pastor of Salem Full Gospel Church today.  Bill is also the author of the Amazon best selling book “The 7.0% Solution” ( https://www.amazon.com/7-0-Solution-Guaranteed-Growth-World/dp/1530317614/ref=nodl_  ) , is a financial and precious metals analyst providing weekly written and video content for the United States Gold Bureau here
